![]() ![]() ![]() Suites provide all of the above, plus larger floor plans (more than 800 square feet, or 74 square meters) with separate living areas and additional balcony space. Entry-level Deluxe Rooms offer 600 square feet (56 square meters) of living space and are well-appointed with cocktail bars that include free welcome tequila, custom sateen sheets, and private ocean-view balconies with hanging daybeds. The size, bed configuration, and in-room amenities in each of the nine room categories vary widely. ![]() The alternating tile and wood floors give everything a sharp finish that feels bright enough to remind everyone that they're on one of Mexico's prettiest beaches. We particularly love the addition of bespoke, locally-inspired artwork - it contrasts the massive volume of hand-crafted hardwood details throughout the rooms. Decor is a sophisticated blend of mid-century Latin American furniture, leather headboards, and a soft, brown-on-gray color palette. Like the hotel’s common areas, rooms are meticulously designed. While children are allowed on the property, the target clientele is clearly couples seeking a relaxed, exclusive retreat that’s light on family-friendly fun. Every space - those meant for socializing and those designed for more privacy - has an undeniably sexy dash of romance. The large outdoor pool terrace makes liberal use of concrete, stone, and meticulous xeriscaping that all flow seamlessly into Monuments Beach. Interiors are adorned with a broad array of seemingly disparate industrial elements - polished concrete, raw ashy timber ceilings, and mid-century modern seating - blended in a sophisticated, but never showy, way. The modernist architecture is sleek and chic, but manages to stay out of its own way so that guests can focus on the stunning beachfront location. This is luxury, and the hotel lives up to the expectations for this ultra-swank brand. Other than that, very good.In a region packed with hotels that claim luxury status but fail to deliver on those promises, stepping onto the grounds of The Cape is a welcome change of pace. Attentive, pleasant and friendly yet somewhat snobbish which I hate. I don't even drink alcohol! Worth a treat and I enjoyed my meal and the evening. Having said this, it was light and greedy here, finished it. Probably the best I have eaten this trip. I had the fish tempura tacos, miso, cabbage, flour tortillas to eat followed by the tres leches cake, black cherry ice cream, vanilla cream for dessert. Maybe I was lucky but I arrived just before sunset without a reservation and got a lovely table. Tables are nicely spaced out so you have your privacy but still able to enjoy the ambience. Loved the sexy dim lighting, music and decor. Easily 10/10 Food, Service and experience! We actually came for our first anniversary and they really made this such a memorable dinner. Also our waiters were so knowledgeable and friendly, I would ask for them if you go - Faustino and Daniel. The experience and ambiance is something you cannot miss, definitely opt for the chef tasting. My husband and I split that and also got the Mushroom Ramen which was so good. We got ceviche, sashimi, Guacachile, fish Taco, and Fish entree with the Chefs selection which I think was like $120 for 1. The food is on the pricey side for México but the quality and experience is well above and beyond on a global scale so you have to expect Fine Dining prices. The dishes were so creative and so delicious. Usually I steer away from these due to dietary restrictions but they were super accommodating. We went with the Chefs selection (recommended by our waiter). This was one of the best meals and culinary experiences weve had in our lives. ![]() We were so excited because we happened to be staying at The Cape for 4 nights following a wedding in San Jose del Cabo. My husband and had been recommended to eat at Manta by a friend that is a chef in New York. ![]()
